The Enchanting "Hoa Đào"—A Southern Artisan’s Dream

Hoa Đào refers to the delicate peach blossoms that signal spring. Historically, as these flowers only bloom in the cooler climates of Northern Vietnam, they became a symbol of longing for those in the South.

Legend has it that Southern artisans, having never seen the real blossoms, painted them onto Song Be pottery based purely on the vivid descriptions they heard from travelers. We have recreated this poetic "imagined beauty" from vintage Song Be patterns, finishing the piece with a chic ribbon in subdued tones to create a sophisticated, modern accessory.
